International Women's Day Celebration – Break the Bias

On the 9th of March, 2022, IMA Pala, in association with the Rotary Club, Pala, hosted an inspiring event to celebrate International Women’s Day. Centered around the theme “Break the Bias”, the celebration aimed to empower individuals to challenge stereotypes, promote inclusivity, and highlight the achievements of women across various domains.

Distinguished Guest Speakers

 The event featured an impressive lineup of guest speakers who shared their insights and experiences. Tomson KP, Circle Inspector of Pala, provided valuable perspectives on the role of law enforcement in creating a safer society for women. Adv. Geetha P, former Public Prosecutor of Pala, delivered an empowering address on the importance of gender equality and justice. Mrs. Remya Elizabeth Kurien, Director and Consultant of Healthy Minds Counselling Centre, Pala, spoke passionately about mental health and the need for fostering emotional resilience in women.

Engaging Discussions and Interactions

 The speakers engaged the audience with thought-provoking discussions, shedding light on how societal biases can be identified and overcome. The interactive sessions encouraged participants to share their experiences and exchange ideas on ways to promote gender parity in their communities.
