Mental Health: A Universal Human Right

 On 10th October 2023, a significant discussion on the theme “Mental Health: A Universal Human Right” was held as part of World Mental Health Day celebrations. The event brought together experts from diverse fields to highlight the importance of mental health as a fundamental human right and to create awareness about mental well-being.

The program featured a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Shri Prasanth Nair IAS (Collector-Bro) as the Chief Guest, Dr. Josy Thomas from Melbourne as the Coordinator, and an expert panel comprising Dr. Anu Shobha Jose (Psychiatrist, Perumbavoor), Dr. Sandheesh PT (Clinical Psychologist, Kozhikode), and Ms. Remya Elizabeth K. (Psychiatric Social Worker, Pala). Each speaker brought valuable perspectives on the significance of mental health and practical steps to ensure its accessibility for all.
